Our farm story
Founded by two young farmers on a small farm in Kildare, McCool & Harty Farm was built on a simple, vital belief: animals deserve to live happy, natural lives outdoors, and you deserve ethical, pasture-raised Irish meat straight to your door.

How two young farmers took a different path
Our journey began when we were just thirteen years old. Looking at modern farming, we realized that selling through industrial supermarket supply chains neither supported sustainable local agriculture nor offered consumers true pasture raised quality. We noticed a complete shortage of real pasture raised pork and decided to take a stand. By managing our small farm in Kildare and cutting out supermarket middlemen, we reduce our carbon footprint and supply Irish households directly with tender, honest produce.

Raised outdoors as nature intended
Every day on our Kildare farm starts naturally. While our cattle and sheep awaken on soft, lush pastures with endless fresh grass to graze, our pigs step out from cosy straw filled hog huts into open fields with total freedom to roam. We feed them frequently throughout the day, giving them ample room to forage, root, and explore. Unhurried, ethical outdoor living ensures healthy, stress free animals and exceptional welfare from dawn until dusk.

Rich flavour you can taste in every cut
When livestock live active, contented lives on open pasture, the difference reaches your table immediately. Natural foraging and a diverse pasture diet create a rich, authentic flavour that intensive farming can never replicate. Less stress means naturally tender, succulent beef, lamb, pork, and bacon. Delivered directly from our pastures to your kitchen across Kildare, it is meat you can feel proud to serve your family.
"Our promise is simple: every single animal is raised outdoors as nature intended, living a happy life on Kildare soil to deliver the finest ethical meat straight to your home."
